“PHOTOGRAPHED THE DOOR,
NOW RUN AFTER THE CLOUDS”- It can be taken literally or metaphorically. Live, travel, create and feel yourself free.
I created it in 2017-2018 while in the lovely seaside location of Playa de Gandia in south-east Spain.
The idea just came to me while observing the clouds from my room, when my gaze shifted to the spy-hole on the door. I don’t know what was so special about the door, but it caught my attention. The image just appeared in my mind and I just had to shoot it. So, rst I shot the detail of the door and then, like a child, ran to catch the clouds ying over the sea. I changed the lenses during the image overlaying process to make small objects bigger and vice versa. I also used a Mamiya lens with tilt-shift adapter and sometimes I changed the order of what was shot rst, since the light and the clouds affected and in uenced the shooting order. The light on the clouds was supposed to match the light on the interior.
